TEACHER: Geshe Thubten Sherab

Tibetan Buddhism is known for its Lam Rim tradition, a commentarial lineage of teachings that condense all of the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha into a concise and systematic process of mental training that culminates in achieving enlightenment. Lama Tsongkhapa the founder of the Gelug tradition, the school of Tibetan Buddhism The Guhyasamaja Center is associated with, has written a number of seminal Lam Rim texts, among them his "Lines of Experience" is known for clearly laying out the entire spiritual path in a concise text that is accessible to beginning students of Buddhism.

In this weekend retreat we will receive teachings on this text from Geshe Thubten Sherab and cultivate a deeper awareness of how to begin our spiritual journey as well as an understanding of what lies ahead as we continue to make progress step by step toward the full awakening of our spiritual potential.
