Donate Goods and/or Volunteer for The Center's Second Annual Yard Sale

Save the Date! The Guhyasamaja Center will host a yard sale on May 20th, 2017 (rain date: May 21st, 2017) at London Towne, Centreville, VA (corner of Lee Hwy (Rt.29) & Stone Road towards Manassas).

We need your help! Please consider donating household items: toys, CDs/DVDs, baby stuff, furniture, tools, electronics, appliances, kitchen wares, artwork, bicycles, sporting equipment, antiques, linens, shoes and boots, clothing and other items that may be of interest to shoppers.

Don't be shy! Ask your friends, family, and neighbors for contributions. Is your office remodeling or upgrading? Do they have items to donate? All donations are tax deductible; receipts are available.

Please ensure that donated items are clean and in working condition. Smaller items may be dropped off at the center at the start or finish of any of our classes. Big and/or heavy items should be brought to the venue the day of Yard Sale. Don't forget to make a list of what you donate for tax purposes and please make a copy for us. Please put an expected "price" of the item you donate. You can ask for a label at the center.

Are you fond of yard sales? Would you like to help organize this event? Don't want to organize but have something else to offer — storage, sort items, transportation, and staffing day of sale? We want to hear from you! Please E-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

This is a great opportunity to practice generosity by helping your center make the Buddha's teachings available in your community. (Note, any items that do not sell will be donated to a local charity.)
