Introduction to Equanimity Practices
This introductory class teaches how equanimity improves our ability to maintain peace and calm in a rocky world. No previous experience is required.
We will discuss equanimity and why it’s beneficial to cultivate it right from the start of our path, alleviate common misconceptions, and practice meditations of increasing scope. Wear comfortable clothes, be prepared to remove your shoes and come see what the Buddha taught us about equanimity.
This class is designed for those who are new to Buddhism and are curious to see what its about. No previous experience is required.
